THE PLAN FOR DAY TWO OF TRIP TO YOSEMITE
by Jon Novoselac
After a day’s guided fishing with Tom Knoth, my plan is to get up early, drive for an hour-or-so, and fish for half-a-day on the Tuolumne, Lyell and Dana Forks in Tuolumne Meadows.
With Lembert Dome and Sierra lodgepole pine trees as backdrops, I have high expectations for this leg of the trip. The weather in autumn will be comfortable. The summer crowds will be gone. The fish aren’t supposed to be big but c’mon, that’ll be the least of my worries.
Following this leg will be the Golden Trout Wilderness. More about that later.
